T his ecumenical outreach program is sponsored by the Churches on-the-Hill, a partnership of nine Christian churches in the Forest Hill area, including TEMC. The food bank is open on Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We need volunteers to process applicants, stock shelves and distribute food. For information on volunteer opportunities, contact Bea Riddell at 416-323-9569.  Top of Page

T TEMC is committed to assisting in this hot meal service for shut-ins and the elderly by providing cars, drivers and tray-carriers. We need volunteers at noon five times only between February and June in the Parkdale area. In our church neighbourhood, other TEMC volunteers deliver meals once a week throughout the year. Contact Lillias Allward at 416-226-6525 for Parkdale and Robin Whitelaw at 416-421-8286 for the area near TEMC.
